Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk faces a ban on bikes

November 21, 2014

Update: Thanks to your action, Rehoboth’s leaders have stepped away from the bike ban and are now considering other options to increase safety on the Boardwalk. Several commissioners remarked that they would strongly prefer any options that don’t take bikes out of the picture. Thanks to all who weighed in!

Stop the ban on bikes on Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk

The Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk is a beautiful destination for strolling, biking and enjoying the sights. Right now, the Rehoboth Board of City Commissioners is considering an ordinance that would ban or severely limit bicycling on the Boardwalk.

PeopleForBikes and local bike shop Atlantic Cycles are asking for your help to make sure the Boardwalk remains a family-friendly, safe place to ride.

Use our easy letter-writing tool to tell the Rehoboth Board of City Commissioners why it’s important to allow bicycles on the Boardwalk.

Thanks for helping us keep the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk open to bikes!
